Voice Disorders

The TalkSpot offers short-term, outcome-oriented individual therapy for people with voice disorders. Clients are taught to produce voice with minimal effort and strain allowing them to regain vocal abilities while optimizing vocal cord health.

Clients include those with:

  • Vocal Cord Paralysis
  • Hyperfunctional Voice Disorder
  • Polyps
  • Nodules
  • Neuromuscular Disease

Short-term preventative programs and education are available for people who use their voices extensively at work, such as teachers, clergy and athletic coaches. Vocal care, breathing and vocal techniques can support these “professional voice users” in maintaining a healthy voice while meeting the demands of the workplace.

We custom-tailor programs to our clients’ needs and are certified providers of Lessac-Madsen Resonance Voice Therapy, and Casper-Stone Confidential Flow Therapy (known collectively as Voice Spectrum Therapy), as well as Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) for those who may benefit from these programs.
