LSVT® (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment)

The TalkSpot provides the internationally acclaimed and clinically proven intensive Lee Silverman Voice Therapy Program (LSVT) with LSVT-certified Speech-Language Pathologists. When administered in its entirety, as is done at The TalkSpot, this program makes significant and lasting changes in the speech intelligibility of people with Parkinson’s Disease. In addition, research has shown that individuals who receive LSVT experience many additional benefits beyond improved speech communication, including improved swallowing, and more natural and expressive facial expressions and gestures while speaking.
LSVT is an intense 4-week program which is:
- Designed specifically to improve speech difficulties that result from Parkinson’s Disease.
- Proven in clinical studies to have dramatic, lasting effects when the full protocol is followed.
The client is seen by the Speech Language Pathologist for one-hour sessions 4 days a week, and completes daily exercises at home for 10–30 minutes.

- Individual hour-long appointments made for 4x weekly for a period of 4 weeks.
- Covered by Medicare for eligible individuals.
